The Mayor of Medan Holds a Level IV PPKM Implementation Coordination Meeting

Sepindonesia.com | MEDAN – Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution attended a coordination meeting for implementing PPKM level IV outside Java and Bali virtually from the Medan Mayor’s Office House, Saturday (24/7/2021).

The meeting chaired by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto was also attended by Ministers, Governors, Regents and Mayors throughout Indonesia. In the coordination meeting, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, explained that the implementation of PPKM was implemented gradually in four levels (levels I-IV).

PPKM level determination for districts/cities outside Java – Bali includes PPKM level IV will be applied to 45 Regencies/Cities in 21 Provinces, PPKM level III will be applied to 278 Regencies/Cities in 18 Provinces, and PPKM level II will be applied in 63 districts/cities in 17 provinces. Furthermore, Airlangga Hartanto also explained that PPKM outside Java and Bali will also be extended from July 26 to August 8, 2021.

In this coordination meeting, the Ministers also conveyed their readiness to extend the PPKM, one of which was the Minister of Health who would increase the number of Covid-19 vaccines for regions that were set into PPKM level IV.(Red)
